Festival Oldham will return to the town centre on Saturday 30 May 2026, 12 to 4pm bringing a vibrant programme of arts, culture and community activity to kick-start the summer season.
This year’s free outdoor festival will also mark the official launch of Rising Up, Oldham’s year as Greater Manchester Town of Culture, setting the stage for an exciting borough-wide programme of events and activity.
Inspired by a green, floral and summery theme, the festival promises a lively day of entertainment featuring local, regional and national performers.
The main stage in Parliament Square will host a packed line-up including Taste of Sabrina, Baked À La Ska, Untold Orchestra and Snow.
A range of outdoor performances will animate the streets, including Bee-Yond the Garden Gate by Limelight Circus, Easy Lay Eggs by Fair Play and The Pigeons by Circii, alongside the roaming Summer Lion from Creature Encounters.
Festival Oldham is set to be a highlight of the cultural calendar, offering something for residents, visitors and local businesses alike.
